Dearest Friends,      

As we travel around the world, many of those we talk to ask the very same question: "How can I experience the abundant Life the Bible talks so much about?"

This always strikes a cord with me because for the first 20 years of my own marriage and Christian life, I asked the very same question. On the outside, Chuck and I looked like the "perfect Christian couple," but on the inside our lives were falling apart. I attended many marriage seminars, read hundreds of self-help books and had everyone I knew praying for us, but nothing seemed to change and we appeared destined for divorce. However, before taking such a drastic step, I began to search the Scriptures for answers and started practicing what I was learning. A sequence of events then happened that totally revolutionized our marriage and our lives. The answer to the above question is found in the simple and practical application of God's Word.  

The King's High Way materials have been developed as a result of God's miraculous intervention in our lives: from the healing of our marriage, the re-establishing of our home after being on the epicenter of a 6.8 earthquake, experiencing corporate and personal bankruptcy, to the mending of our hearts after the sudden and unexpected death of our first born son, Chip.

All these circumstances in my life have forced me to continue to apply those precious truths I learned from His Word so many years ago. The Scripture in Deuteronomy 30:19 expresses it well: "I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life , that both thou and thy seed may live." Truly, it is a constant choice! God promises us His "abundant Life," in spite of our difficulties, our weaknesses and our failures. But, we are the ones that must choose it.

It is my prayer that God will use The King's High Way materials to help you understand your choices a little more clearly and be able to apply His Word in a more practical and real way.
