elcome to the King's Highway Quarterly Newsletter! We began producing this newsletter in the Winter of 2005 and have published 5 newsletters since then.

     We anticipated publishing more newsletters. Unfortunately, due to my deteriorating health, our goal is delayed. Some of you subscribed to our mailing list may have followed my journey in the Quarterly Newsletter Column titled, "A Heart Like Mine." Although I received a life-saving heart transplant on July 14, 2005, I also contracted a cancer type virus that surfaced last January 2006. I have been on chemotherapy since then and hope to be off the treatments by the end of this January, 2007. My prayer is that the virus would remain dormant and my health would be restored.

     With that said, our plan is to have a Quarterly Newsletter some time inthe future. Writing to you reminds me of God's promise in Isaiah 43:19, "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." I believe the Lord will bring "new things" one day for our Quarterly Newsletter!
