For many of us as the Holiday and Christmas season approaches it becomes a time of stress and frustration rather than peace and enjoyment. We become so consumed with the pleasures of the world rather than the “prize” of the high calling of God.
“Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before. [We must] press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13
So this Christmas season let’s be watchful, ready, and prepared to be those faithful overcomers; producing good fruit by walking in the Spirit and loving one another.

Prayer Update for November 2017
All of us at King’s High Way want to wish each one of you dear intercessors and your families a beautiful and blessed Thanksgiving. And even in the midst of sorrow and suffering, as Christians, we always have at least one thing to be thankful for—OUR NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE!!!! Yes! We belong to our Father and we are IN his Son, Jesus Christ for now and all eternity!! Hallelujah!!!!
What better assurance could we have? Jesus loves us! He chose us! He gave us the grace because of what HE did on the Cross to choose to respond to His offer of forgiveness of sins and eternal life. He has given us His Holy Spirit as the deposit guaranteeing our redemption, and as the One who can live out the life of Christ through us if we will only die to our flesh and submit to His life in us. Gift of all gifts!! We are His! No one can pluck us out of His hand!!! HE is faithful!!!
I really felt that some reading this prayer letter really need to be reminded of that right now. Because of natural disasters, fires, deaths, and loss and devastation of all sorts in so many that we talk to and receive letters from, it can be difficult to believe that God is working even the worst circumstances together for our good. But God IS loving and good and trustworthy. We know that because of Jesus, because HE, His Word is true and He cannot lie. Turmoil may be swirling around you right now, dear ones, but Jesus is near—Savior, Friend, Rock Eternal, Refuge, Strong Tower, Lover of our souls, Faithful Intercessor, Soon Coming King!! Hallelujah!!!!! WE HAVE SO VERY MUCH TO BE GRATEFUL FOR!!!
With His Eternal Love and Thanks For You,
Kathryn Taylor and the King’s High Way Staff
